Badu Menglian Yunnan China
Badu is a natural processed coffee from the Menglian region of Yunnan China on the border of Myanmar. Our partners YCT in Yunnan have worked with this washing station consistently and it produces about 20 tons of Badu natural per harvest under the management of Mr Chen. The coffee cherries are harvested by the Lahu tribal peoples that live nearby and work the coffee shrubs in area. Badu is generally superior in sweetness to any other coffee in the region. In fact, Eli Ramirez used coffee from Badu during the 2017 USBC. We roast it very light to get flavor notes of berries, jaggery, mango with a light body.
