Common questions
Can I change my coffee each month?
Yes. You can update your selection for the upcoming month anytime before the queue date, after which your order is locked in to roast and ship. During your Coffee Club Subscription set up you can ask Kaku to send a reminder email letting you know when the queue date is approaching.
How do I skip a month?
From your Coffee Club dashboard in your profile, toggle Skip this month — no charge, no shipment. You can also just tell Kaku.
When does my coffee ship?
Orders are first queued (the day your order is locked in), then they roast, then they ship. During your Coffee Club subscription set up you will pick a ship date and we work backwards to set the roast and queue dates — the same time each month. You will receive an email from Kaku each month letting you know when it is on its way.
What grind options are available?
Whole Bean (default, recommended for peak freshness) or Filter Grind — a medium grind suited for drip and pour over. Filter Grind adds $1 per bag.
Can I gift a Coffee Club Subscription?
Yes. Gift subscriptions are available for any plan. From the plan page, select Send as a Gift and we will handle the rest.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, CashApp, PayPal, Venmo, and crypto (Bitcoin, ETH, USDC, and others). Choose whatever works best for you at checkout.
